Dennis Realmuto started Professional Irrigation with a truck he bought for $200 at the age of 18. The business has been family owned ever since. Over the course of five decades, we’ve expanded to specialize in irrigation, drainage, and lighting systems designed to keep landscapes healthy, safe, and looking their best as conditions change.
Professional Irrigation acquired Locust Valley Irrigation and expanded to serve both Nassau and Suffolk counties, and beyond.
Professional Irrigation is an active member of the Irrigation Association and holds multiple industry certifications. With nearly 50 years of local experience, the company understands Long Island’s unique soils, weather patterns, and micro-climates - and designs systems that perform accordingly.
